If you join us to PADDLE, you can expect:
- an amazing day of sunshine, water and paddling on June 10th, taking part in the 2023 Fanshawe Dragon Boat Festival! From paddling on the water, to checking out the vibrant vendor village, to relaxing in the paddler village, there's never a dull moment!
- two 1-hour dragon boating practices with a qualified coach, helping you learn how to paddle safely and effectively as a team. Practices are at 8:00pm on Tues May 30 and Thurs Jun 1 at the Fanshawe Yacht Club inside Fanshawe Conservation Area.
- free entry to the park on practice nights and festival day
- all equipment (i.e. PFDs, paddles) provided, as well as an experienced drummer and qualified steerperson for each race
- An FCSSC game host on-site to help make introductions and organize the team!
- All the details taken care of - you just need to show up!
