Built by and for our LGBTQ2+ community, get ready to make new friends with this LGBTQ2+ curling league!
FCSSC is so excited to help facilitate this for-fun league for our LGBTQ2+ community, with an emphasis on making it a supportive, understanding, and comfortable place to have fun and make new friends with the LGBTQ2+ community.
The league will follow a hat league format, with new teams made up onsite each week by our Game Coordinator. This will give everyone a chance to meet and talk to each other over the course of the league! Games will run from 4-5:30p.m. on Sunday afternoons. All players are encouraged to hang out after the game at the bar, where we'll hand out fun prizes each week!
*Please note that while we love our allies, this league is intended as a place for LBGTQ2+ people to make friends within the community.*
This league will run for 10 weeks. Open to people of all skill levels and beginner friendly, the league will include 2 weeks of "Learn to Curl" instruction at the start.
The Highland will supply rocks and brooms. Sliders are optional and must be supplied by members who wish to use them. Feel free to bring any/all pronoun pins you have; we will also have a supply available of name tags.
As always, play is safety-first, and self-officiated.
